OMG! There is a book about PLUM TUCKER!!!

My Aunt Shawn has alerted me to this amazing book, The Adventures of Plum Tucker, thinking that I already knew about it and named Plum after it - I didn't know about this series and I definitely didn't know about the book... but this is TOO AWESOME. Here is the book image I found:
And here is a description of it:
"Staying the summer with their relatives in Park City, Oregon, the children are kept perpetually busy by Uncle Roger, who eventually takes Terry and Merry fishing for the weekend, accompanied by Aunt Lila, leaving Tina, Penny, and Tom in the care of their bookish cousin Ted, who's at a loss to know what to do with such active children. But it's Tom who precipitates the kids' summer project: upon being introduced to a sleepy basset hound puppy whose breeder describes him as "plumb tuckered out," Tom assumes "Plum Tucker" is their dog, and the all the children, having fallen in love with the sweet puppy, spend the rest of the summer trying to earn money to buy the dog."

Um, I'm stunned. How cool is that?!! Here is a link to a page about the Tucker series.

oh my goodness! and the dog on the cover looks like plum's slightly more spotted cousin. Why didn't Plum tell you about her family history? :)

I just made the assumption that you knew about "Plum Tucker"!
Emily bought me my favorite Tucker book, used of course, for Christmas this past year. You should totally get Plum's book!
Check out our blog...www.americasnexttopbloggers.blogspot.com...Emily made it so we could keep up with Annie when she moves so far away. It doesn't rival Scooter's blog, but we will keep trying!

MAURA!!! You need to put in an ebay search for that book. Someone out there has one to sell, I'm sure! That is so cool!

I love that they are staying with their "bookish cousin"! :)
